Seaton is a quiet and pleasant seaside town on the beautiful Jurassic coast of East Devon, with a long pebble beach and cliffs at both ends of the town. Situated near the border with Dorset, the town is ideally placed as a centre to explore the many beautiful sites of Devon, Dorset and Somerset.
Colyford. Inland from Seaton, but less than 1.5 miles from the coast, Colyford is a linear village, with the A3052 passing through its centre.
Axmouth is separated from Seaton by the river Axe, a well known nature reserve, with several bird hides on the Seaton side of the river, and viewing areas on the Axmouth side of the estuary.
Beer is a small town to the west of Seaton, folded in a valley between limestone cliffs, Beer has a beach, serving as a harbour for the still active fishing fleet.
Colyton. Sitting on the river Coly, less than a mile from Colyford. On the edge of the town is the Colyton Tram Station, which has rail connections to Colyford and Seaton, along the estuary of the River Axe.
